Our friend, Linda drove us to the train station in Rockhampton were we caught the Tilt train to Brisbane. Being a Climate Change nerd I am hoping the train journey was at least 40-50% renewable energy.

We stayed overnight at The Ibis Airport hotel, we had small room and hoping to watch the ABC election coverage, sadly the ABC had no sound, the only station with no sound (there may be a conspiracy theory there) Ibis couldn't fix so we watched on my laptop.

Next morning we walked over to the airport and caught one of the EV busses to the International, it was so quiet and smell free.

Now comes my guilt, we caught a business class Qantas plane to Singapore (a 7hr flight) with an estimated emissions of 1817.83kg of e-CO2 .

Singapore is a lovely City/State, so clean and the people are great but also a great polluter, very little renewables and I haven't seen an EV as yet.

We are now in Helsinki, Finland.

We arrived too early to book into the hotel which has a self booking process and had to wait until a staff member arrived about 90 minutes later. She helped us with process of booking in but had to wait for our room to be readied. We stored our bags there and went for a discovery walk.

One thing that impressed us was how ordered and clean the city is.

So, many impressive old buildings.
